One of my co-worker's daughters was murdered at UNC-Wilmington last week by another student. We're a small company, and it's been a stunned and somber week for us. If you've seen this on the news, well, remember that there is a real family right here in Cary that is grieving.
I have to warn you, that I've been avoiding news stories about this because I find them very disturbing and upsetting. I just read the 911 call transcript, and frankly, I wish that I hadn't.
If you'd like to help the family during this tremendously difficult time, there is a memorial fund that has been setup by a local branch of First Citizen's Bank & Trust. Please contribute if you'd like to support them.
